About me

    My name is Nathan Trousdale, I'm a storyboard artist and graduate of the CalArts Character Animation program. I'm originally from the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles, California and I have been doing freelance work in animation and film for several years now.

    I'm inclined towards action-style boards, as I have a background in martial arts. I have a strong sense of staging, as well as a love for with more comedic and dramatic material as well. I often look to include various perspectives in my own work. This is due to my own experience growing up, as well as my strong personal interest in history, society, and natural systems.

    I can work well in Photoshop, Storyboard Pro, After Effects, and of course with a pen and paper as well. I am also very willing and able to learn any new programs as quickly as possible.
